Kenyans living abroad will now have enhanced banking services as Absa Bank Kenya unveils its latest digital offering. The financial institution aims to provide a user-friendly platform offering banking, savings, and payment services.
According to Absa’s Managing Director, Abdi Mohamed, this solution empowers the diaspora community to invest in local projects, aligning with their digital aspirations. “We are dedicated to unlocking the economic potential of Kenyans abroad through innovative, user-centric solutions,” Mohamed stated.
The platform ensures seamless transactions for Kenyans abroad, regardless of their location in Africa, the Middle East, America, or Europe, eliminating the need to return to Kenya for banking needs.
Additionally, the new system streamlines money transfers from banks to mobile phones, a preferred method for various expenses such as education, healthcare, groceries, and shopping. Absa emphasizes the flexibility of the platform, allowing users to access their savings and payment options in multiple currencies through smartphones, tablets, and computers.
