Mark Oni-Okeke has been appointed as the new Managing Director (MD). In a statement, Okechi Igwebuike, the former Managing Director, has been reassigned to lead the industrial product management team within the Power Systems Business Unit at Cummins Inc. in Columbus, Indiana, USA.
He will be replaced by Oni-Okeke, who has been appointed as the new Managing Director (MD). Oni-Okeke has a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Electronics Engineering. He also has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom.
In addition to his academic qualifications, Oni-Okeke is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and Sales Management Professional. He has attended several Cummins Global Leadership Programmes, including the Sales Management Development Programme from the Institute for Sales Management in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Oni-Okeke has over 15 years of experience in the power generation industry. He has a successful record of growing businesses and developing strategic partnerships in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Nigeria.
According to the statement, Oni-Okeke will increase operational efficiency by streamlining processes, reducing waste, and improving productivity. And also expand market share by entering new markets, developing new products and services, and increasing sales in existing markets.
