Eterna Plc has officially become Nigeria’s exclusive domestic sales distributor of Dangote Petroleum Refinery products. The announcement, detailed in a corporate disclosure signed by Mandella Golkus, the Company Secretary of Eterna Plc, outlines the company’s commitment to enhancing product supply through expanded trucking capacity.
Eterna Plc, a leading integrated energy provider in Nigeria, has strategically increased its trucking capacity by acquiring new trucks and forming a partnership with a third-party transportation company. This move solidifies Eterna Plc’s position as a significant distributor of Dangote’s domestic products in the country and underscores its dedication to customer satisfaction.
The Managing Director of Eterna Plc, Benjamin Nwaezeigwe, expressed pride in the official distributorship, stating, “We are proud to be appointed as an official distributor of Dangote refinery domestic sale in Nigeria. This partnership with Dangote Energy reflects our commitment to providing Nigerians with world-class Energy solutions that meet their needs and expectations.”
Nwaezeigwe further emphasized the company’s commitment to remaining competitive, even in the face of fuel subsidy removal. The partnership with Dangote Petrochemical Refinery is a testament to Eterna Plc’s long-standing reputation for excellence in the downstream oil and gas sector.
The collaboration is pivotal, as Dangote Petrochemical Refinery commenced operations on Friday, January 12, 2024. The refinery received six million barrels of crude oil in six batches, each comprising one million barrels. During the initial production phase, the refinery will prioritize the production of diesel and aviation fuel, with subsequent phases focusing on PMS production.
