Business owners have been charged to scale through the hostile dynamics through innovation to help them scale through. The charge was given by financial analysts at Citadel Global Community Church empowerment team programme titled, ‘Strategies for creative turnaround in uncertain times – Identifying opportunities and seasons’, in Lagos on Saturday.
The keynote speech was given by The Managing Director, Accion Microfinance Bank, Taiwo Joda. He dwelled on the importance of innovation in businesses and advised business owners to try out opportunities despite the challenges they may face in the business world.
According to him, every business has its own difficulty, the only way out is to develop innovative approaches to position for opportunities. Mr Joda reiterated that business owners must foster a growth mindset and uphold an unwavering standard if they must flourish. He further encouraged business owners to beat challenges and find new avenues for growth and enhancement.
Chika Nwobi, the Managing Director of Decagon Institute, during the panel session advised them to make prudent use of technology. In his words, “Technology should not just exist but should enhance the profitability of your business. If you are unsure of how to leverage it for improvement, it is best not to rush into it.” He charged business owners to maximize the current era of digitalization for marketing and engagement to make themselves visible to the world.
