On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Jumia Nigeria opened the new warehouse in Isolo, Lagos. The company described the new facility as part of its plans to ensure that it satisfies the unending desires of its customers while doing so effectively and with proper time management.

He stated that the plan to open a new warehouse and logistics facility was influenced by the urge to satisfy its valued customers. The warehouse and logistics facility would ensure easy movements and operations while also improving cost-effective measures on their part.
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was ably represented by Mrs Folashade Ambrose-Medebem, the Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investment, at the launch of Jumia Nigeria’s warehouse and logistics facility.
Speaking on behalf of the Governor of Lagos state, she praised Jumia Nigeria’s effort in attending to customers in Nigeria, recounting how they started before becoming the largest online shopping website in Nigeria. She praised the innovation of the new warehouse and logistics facility, stating that it is a great plan that has been carefully decided by the shopping company to ensure it provides maximum satisfaction to its customers.
Furthermore, she stated that the company’s idea to launch a new warehouse and logistics facility is a welcome one since it aims mainly to boost its business presence, provide services, and improve the nation’s economy.
The government is always behind plans for the development of the economy and satisfying Nigerians at large, citing that the company will not just benefit but will also give back to the public by employing workers in its new warehouse and logistics facility.
