The newly established Ministry for Marine and Blue Economy will be collaborating with the British and American governments grow Nigeria’s economy.
This was disclosed by the British representative Dr. Richard Montgomery, the British High Commissioner to the country, and the U.S. representative Ambassador Jessye Lapenn, the Senior Coordinator for Atlantic Cooperation during meeting with Adegboyega Oduola, the minister for Marine and Blue Economy.
The U.S.A. rep said that America is ready to provide technical aid to the ministry while using the opportunity to advance Nigeria’s economic growth.
This is coming after the ministerial meeting for Atlantic Cooperation, which was convened by the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken on the margins of the 78th United Nations General Assembly, UNGA in New York.
