STALLION MG TO BEGIN CAR ASSEMBLING IN NIGERIA

Stallion MG, a well-known British brand, will begin building MG automobiles in Nigeria in the first quarter of 2024. Anurag Shah, General Manager of Stallion Group’s Luxury & Premium Automotive Brands Division, made the announcement in a statement issued on Wednesday.

Shah emphasized the essence of MG automobiles under the slogan of “Drive to Impress,” emphasizing their great quality, cutting-edge technology, exceptional performance, comfort, spaciousness, and longevity.

“These attributes form the cornerstone of MG’s latest campaign, offering discerning Nigerians an exclusive opportunity to upgrade their vehicles with significant discounts applicable only to the SUV model lineup,” stated the company’s spokesperson.

“This milestone is not merely a celebration of our century-long journey but also a testament to MG’s unwavering commitment to quality and reliability,” Shah said in a statement. He proudly stated that since MG’s arrival in Nigeria in 2021, not a single case of engine failure has been documented in their workshops across the country.

This is in stark contrast to prior portrayals of certain Chinese auto companies, which were plagued by engine and transmission issues, as well as delayed OEM support. Shah’s audacious declaration is in line with MG’s unrivaled reputation for peace of mind and great after-sales service, which has resulted in high customer satisfaction, repeat purchases, and referrals.

Stallion MG has great plans in the works for the future. The company will establish local production plants for the legendary MG brand in the first quarter of 2024. “In addition to our bestsellers, the SUV RX8 and HS,” he said, “we will introduce locally assembled models including MG RX5, ZS, and ZS EV early next year.”

This strategic shift toward local assembly not only demonstrates Stallion MG’s dedication to improving the Nigerian automotive scene, but it also meshes with the company’s larger objective.

“Our entry into local MG assembly is consistent with our commitment to being a part of the solution to Nigeria’s economic challenges. We contribute substantially to the nation’s economy by providing job opportunities and conserving foreign exchange reserves,” Shah explained, pushed further by the incentives provided by the Federal Government’s program for the nation’s car distributors and manufacturers.
