JAIZ BANK AND BETTER LIFE COLLABORATE TO AID WOMEN IN BUSINESS

Better Life has teamed up with Jaiz Bank to provide interest-free loans for women in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The women were trained by Better Life for Women Initiative, on how to enhance small and medium-sized businesses and how to receive free non-interest loans from Jaiz Bank.

Mallam Aliyu, managing director of Jaiz Bank, told attendees that the bank is ready to assist women in business with loans to help them grow their businesses in Nigeria. During the training, the network’s director general, Dr. Prince Ajisefini Ayodeji Tajudeen, stated that women are critical working tools for national development.

“God made man and woman for a reason, and women are role models. When you empower a woman, you empower the entire nation,” Tajudeen said, adding that the Better Life for Women Network is set to unleash the potential of Nigerian women through small and medium-sized businesses in order to reshape their future.

He stated that a better life for women network is being formed to mentor and teach women who own small and medium-sized businesses to help them grow in their communities.

“Many Nigerians are fleeing the country for greener pastures in other parts of the world due to pressure from their wives.” The pressure will be reduced if your wife works or has her own business. That is why we are encouraging women to be self-sufficient,” he continued
