Knight Frank, a real estate firm, has announced the opening of a learning hub as part of its attempts to increase professionalism. This learning hub will provide fresh graduates with the skills to thrive in the labor market.
The learning centre, Knight Frank Academy, will bridge the knowledge gap by providing a new dimension for talent development in the real estate market.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Lagos, Frank Okosun, Senior Partner/Chief Executive Officer, Knight Frank Nigeria, noted that stakeholders across the real estate industry had expressed concerns about the declining quality of personnel such as chartered surveyors, valuers, and real estate brokers, among other ancillary roles.
“Knight Frank developed the academy initiative as one of the ways of returning value to the society by helping to bridge the gap between the competency level of fresh graduates and what is required of entry-level professionals by leading estate surveyors and valuer firms,” he stated.
According to him, once the Knight Frank Academy is completed, the beneficiaries will be ready-to-hire prospects for any significant stakeholder in the business who may require their services.
