The Nigerian government is committed to attracting investors for the newly commissioned oil and gas park. This was made known by Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board (NCDMB) director of Corporate Communications, Engr Ginah O. Ginah during a media tour of the recently built park.

Engr. Ginah disclosed that many people had submitted applications, and screening of the applications is currently ongoing. The oil and gas park was constructed by NCDMB and located in Odukpani, Cross River State.

Still speaking at the media tour, Engr Ginah stressed that everything required to make the environment conducive for business activities has been provided. The provided facilities are manufacturing hall, security, roads, 24-hour power supply, banking hall, restaurant, and state-of-the-art ICT facilities.

Many parks are currently under construction in the Niger Delta region, the constitution of such facility is part of the NCDMB’s mission to increase productivity in the oil and gas sector.

Engr Ginah added that one of NCDMB’s objective was to increase the production of the oil and gas to 70 per cent by 2027 and the only way to make such possible was by building these parks.
