SHELT OPENS BUSINESS UNIT IN NIGERIA

SHELT Global Limited, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, has announced the creation of a new business unit in Nigeria. This was revealed in a press statement provided to the press.

The new business unit, known as SHELT System Integration (SHELT SI), will be handled by the company’s Nigerian subsidiary, Cyber Immune Limited.

Speaking about the company’s recent milestones and the opportunities in the Nigerian market, SHELT Global Limited’s managing partner, Mr Youssef Abillama, emphasized his belief in Nigeria and the country’s digitalization efforts.

“We are fully confident in Nigeria and its commitment to digitization. SHELT is ideally positioned to be the preferred technology partner and trusted advisor for our customers in every step of their digitization journey,” Mr Abillama said.

The new business unit is planned to expand SHELT’s presence in Nigeria significantly.

After over six years of supporting the nation’s banking, telecom, and government sectors, the company says it is expanding its capabilities to help speed Nigeria’s digital transformation.

Thus, the new business unit, SHELT SI, will emerge as an essential addition to the company’s portfolio, providing customers in Nigeria with trustworthy and unbiased experience in designing and implementing cutting-edge, robust, secure, and scalable solutions.

The new business unit is also anticipated to form strategic alliances with global companies to provide Networking and Cloud Management Solutions, Security Solutions, Collaboration Solutions, Managed Services, Communication Services, and IT Professional Services, all while drawing top talent from Nigeria.

The introduction of its new business unit is the latest in a series of recent investments by the company in Nigeria.

Two months ago, the cloud and cybersecurity startup established its Security Operations Centre (SOC), effectively moving its headquarters to Lagos.

The company stated that this transfer of its headquarters demonstrates its commitment to investing in Nigeria’s economy and developing cybersecurity talent in the country.

The new SHELT Headquarters features a cutting-edge 24/7 SOC to assist the company’s clients throughout Nigeria and Africa.

The leading cybersecurity business has also opened its Training Academy, where new and seasoned cybersecurity professionals can enroll and benefit from the organization’s specialists’ knowledge and experience.

The corporation stated that the Training Academy will issue certifications to students in collaboration with international cybersecurity bodies and affiliations. SHELT GLOBAL LIMITED is a technologically advanced European Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP).

It is certified by the GDPR and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and provides a diverse variety of cybersecurity services to and through leading institutions in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
